Who is this competition open to?
Food, beverage, and craft brewing business owners with a packaged product or a liquid that is currently on draft.
How will my application be judged?
All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges consisting of qualified Boston Beer experts who will evaluate the entries based on the following criteria: quality of pitch, creativity and uniqueness of product, viability of product, alignment with the Boston Beer values, and entrant’s passion for the product/industry.
Can I enter if I am a craft brewer?
Yes! Craft brewers are eligible and encouraged to enter.
Why is this contest only open to small businesses in the food and beverage industry?
Our Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program focuses on supporting small businesses in the food, beverage and craft brewing industry as those are the industries we know best – and where we know we have experience we can share.
Who are the judges?
Judges may consist of member of Samuel Adams senior sales team, retailers, buyers and business experts. You will find out the names of the judges and their professional background prior to pitching on the day of the event.
Will Samuel Adams be investing in my product or idea?
No. You will have the opportunity to pitch your product to Samuel Adams experts as well as retailers and buyers but Samuel Adams will not invest in your product or idea.
